No, that headline is not a joke. Tom Powers of the Pioneer Press wrote a column today basically saying, “the T-Wolves have suffered so much over the years, that the next logical step after the T-Wolves figure out this whole K-Love debacle is God – that’s right God – swooping down from the heavens and saving the franchise from itself.”
My reaction: OH. MY. GOD.
And people wonder why the newspaper business is in the shape it’s in. Regardless of one’s beliefs, no one (Atheist or someone of faith) should believe that God cares about the Timberwolves.
If for whatever reason Mr. Powers is right about God caring about the T-Wolves, then God will have a lot of explaining to do in regards to how He picks His moments of divine intervention.
